High Resolves is a pioneering social enterprise that specializes in the design and delivery of immersive learning experiences around citizenship. High Resolves has developed an award-winning curriculum, based on the latest learning science and refined in the field for 15 years. High Resolves, which started in Australia, has expanded into the US, Canada, Brazil and China, with new partnerships forming in Mexico, Peru, Indonesia, Armenia and India. High Resolves has recently been awarded the Aspen Institute’s John P. McNulty Prize, the Schwab Foundation’s Social Entrepreneur of the Year award, and recognition from HundrED as an inspiring Educational Innovator.
Why We Invested
Society is increasingly divided with tribalism, intolerance and prejudice. Most schools do not have the tools they need to educate students in a way to prevent these divisive mindsets and attitudes. High Resolves' programs focus on teaching citizenship competencies with the aim to act as an "immunization program" against racism, hatred and violent extremism for young people. Our support to High Resolve specifically supported the organization as they expanded to North America from Australia, where they are headquartered.
The increasingly complex challenges of our world require a generation of young people to have the intent, skills, vision, creativity and confidence to accomplish what previous generations have failed to do: act in the long‐term collective interest of humanity.
