Swahilipot Hub Foundation (Swahilipot) seeks to nurture youth talents in technology, creatives/arts and heritage. Based in the coastal city of Mombasa, Kenya and founded in 2016, Swahilipot is committed to enabling youth to unleash their full potential through various youth-led programs. They provide a conducive community space that youth use for co-working, meeting, networking and learning.

Why We Invested

Swahilipot has partnered with the Global Opportunity Youth Network (GOYN) to support the estimated 373K opportunity youth in Mombasa. Opportunity youth are defined as young people, ages 15-29, who are out of school, unemployed or working in informal jobs. Our funding supports Swahillipot’s youth development efforts, including the launch of Youth Hub Network which will work to engage youth mentors and CBOs, strengthen its entrepreneurship training, and increase advocacy efforts on behalf of young people.

As a tech enthusiast, I have devoted my career to empowering young people through technology and innovation. I am passionate about the transformational power of technology and deeply committed to youth empowerment. My goal is to provide a platform for youth in Mombasa, Kenya, to develop their skills and pursue their dreams. Through my skills as a community builder, I have successfully brought together youth from different backgrounds towards a common goal at Swahilipot Hub.
