Why We Invested
More than 400,000 children are in foster care in the US and 41% are under age 5. We need more and better foster families to support these most vulnerable little learners at this critical brain development period. Unfortunately, the foster care approval process is inefficient for prospective foster families, social workers, and agencies. Binti builds software to recruit and approve more foster families and find the best family for every child. Beyond individuals, we also hope Binti’s success will spark better tech-enabled solutions throughout social services serving young children and families.
