Why We Invested
Dignitas is equipping and empowering educators, primarily school leaders, in marginalized communities to transform opportunities for the next generation. To date, Dignitas has partnered with over 300 schools, more than 1,500 school leaders and teachers and impacted learning of more than 87,000 children across seven counties in Kenya and in South Sudan. We are thrilled to support Dignitas as they look to deepen and scale their leadership and teacher training program. Furthermore, during COVID-19, we are encouraged by the newly designed and initiated Leaders of Learning Program running in two urban informal settlements where leaders and teachers are supporting 2,400 households toward improved learning and well-being.
