Mai oversees content and digital communications at Imaginable Futures. Mai also supports the team’s efforts on public relations, branding and crisis communications.
Previously, Mai led communications at ECMC Foundation, a national postsecondary education funder based in Los Angeles. In this role, she oversaw the organization’s external communications and supported the senior executive team's communications efforts. Prior to this, Mai served as a public affairs associate, blending her background in public policy and communications in support of the organization's national division.
Mai is committed to working in the mission-driven space. During her undergraduate and graduate years, she interned at nonprofit organizations focused on children’s rights, civil rights and criminal/juvenile justice reform, and at local, state and federal government offices.
I love the energy that is created when like-minded people who are committed to doing good in the world, come together.
Sometimes I dream of starting a winery...that also rescues animals (Look up: Malibu Wine Safari).
A nurse or doctor because I enjoy working with and helping people. I later realized that I hate the sight of blood, so I guess that was a problem!
